Restaurant Review: Frontier Public House
Restaurant Review: Frontier Public House

Last night, Susan and I had an incredible dinner at Frontier Public House for our weekly business review and family finance meeting. We walked in around 4:45, and from the outside, it may look like an unassuming block building, but once you step inside, it's an entirely different vibe—spacious, lively, and welcoming! We were greeted with big smiles and a cheerful “HELLO!” that instantly set the tone for the night.

The ambiance is spot on—fun, relaxed, and perfect for any occasion. And their website description is 100% accurate: “Frontier Public House is a hidden gem in Vancouver, WA, with a family-oriented atmosphere. Come in and enjoy our savory handcrafted cocktails, local beers on tap, and PNW wines. We take pride in our ability to create unique flavors and share them with you and your families. Come celebrate special moments with us; we can't wait to serve you, and as always, thank you for being a friend!”

Now, onto the food! I ordered the chicken and dumplings—hearty, flavorful, and absolutely packed with tender chicken, both dark and white meat, in a creamy, comforting base. And those garlic dumplings? They were a delicious twist that stole the show! Susan went for the Buddha Bowl, and it looked phenomenal—so vibrant and fresh, I wished we had snapped a picture. The service was just as delightful; our server was attentive, cheerful, and made sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re in the area and looking for a cozy spot with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, Frontier Public House is a must-visit!
