Raising 100 Hands for Foster Care: A New Local Effort to Support SW Washington Foster Families

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of 100 Hands for Foster Care, a new local initiative dedicated to providing immediate, tangible support to foster families and children right here in the SW Washington, metro area!
The journey for children and families in the foster care system can be complex and challenging. Our mission is simple: to be the "100 Hands" that bridge the gap, providing essential resources, comfort, and relief when it's needed most in our community.
Why the SW Washington Area Needs This Now
Across both Clark & Cowlitz County, WA, dedicated foster parents open their hearts and homes to children in crisis. Often, these placements happen suddenly, leaving families with urgent, unmet needs—from clothing and basic necessities to furniture or emergency funds.
100 Hands for Foster Care works directly with local agencies to ensure every foster child entering a new home has the immediate resources they need to feel safe and cared for. We are driven by the belief that supporting foster families is the best way to support the children in their care.
